Excerpts from The Beginning of God

"Lucifer was intimate with Heaven’s glory, revealed in and demonstrated by Moses’ temple. He and the hosts of Heaven were actors in God’s unsearchable temple priesthood. His smoldering room with a view, from which he fed on these spirit-matters, was the Mount of God and the Altar of Burnt Offering. John, the apostle, saw spiritual visions of servant-angels dispatched from this place; and Lucifer was chief minister in its mysterious smokiness. He echoed the third court’s glory-filled message of mercy as Heaven’s praise leader.
His eternal days were spent walking on burning, cobble-stone coals that were the paths for God’s streaming geysers of fire (purification) and wells of springing life. Each boiling cornerstone was shrouded in the Consuming Fire of the Lord Himself and, end to end, composed the bedrock of the Origin. The harmony of water and flames at the altar created a fuming inferno that lifted the angel’s wings, filled his throat, strummed his vocal chords and gave him a spectacular, heavenly language.

MYSTERY: “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.” Ezekiel 28:13

His beauty reflected the swelling revelation of God’s character that was mirrored in the stones under his angelic feet. His bejeweled flesh, embedded with percussion instruments, trembled in God’s presence. His throat was a thousand piped organs, inhaling the flooding glory of the Origin in a cyclonic resounding of the Creator’s majesty. His many voices, booming drums and clanging cymbals were a shivering response to the smoky splendor that permeated his skin of precious gems, like second-hand brilliance. This was privilege; and Lucifer could not resist the Most Holy Place’s communication to him through the altar. It required his praise. It commanded his worship.

He was Son of the Morning, created to painstakingly search the infinite God and enquire after the mercy seat’s grandeur. Moment upon moment, the Source of Life that he served was the dawning of a new day in forever. Before there were days, each characteristic of his Master was a continual sun-rising that shone as far as any eye could see; and Hallel-Lucifer rose early with each dawning.

He was a beastly ornament whom God allowed the honor of reverberating sacred praises from gem-encrusted sanctuaries. The Child of the Dawn was newly amazed by every glimmer of God’s excellence. His face was constantly bowed to the fire in awe, as though it was the first and the last time he would rendezvous with God’s unduplicated flawlessness. Wave upon wave of the glory’s conversation insisted that Lucifer live this way, close to the altar’s scorching comfort. God’s divine breathing resisted his fascination, however. Just as quickly as Lucifer came near, the Creator’s exhale filled his piped throat and pushed him away from the altar, into the chill of divorce and separation . . . . .

Within the fence of time, God’s search was evident among the lyrics of moving waters and cooing beasts in the Garden of Eden. In the garden, God’s voice was the cool of Eden’s days. It was an anointing logic that ministered support for life, magnifying itself and conversing with every thing that had been shaped by God’s hands. Adâm, the garden’s caretaker, was the target of this unique companionship. In him, our forefather, God fashioned a creature that could satisfy the void in His presence.

Adâm despised it all, however, choosing the insanity and darkness of disobedience rather than rest in Life’s bosom. He foolishly hid from the omniscient mind of God, drawn away by his lust and enticed by the fruit of Eve’s communion with Satan (James 1:14; Genesis 3:1-5). Just as with the banished Lucifer, Heaven’s dialogue became a monologue; and Adâm’s song oozed into a pitiful ballad of excuses. He dismissed himself from covenant conversation and led his family (the seed of humanity being in him) away from the provision of God’s voice. He shunned Hallel’s privilege, and, being the Father of Mankind, disconnected all creation from the umbilical cord of God’s activity.

MYSTERY: “Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” Joshua 7:11

We, too, in Adâm, have chosen Lucifer’s iniquity and Satan’s folly by mapping our own way and devising our own truth. The descent of our dark choices into paradise compelled the all-knowing God to ask Adâm where was he. It was an interrogation directed to all humanity and spotlighted the canyon forged by rebellion. It was also more than a record of defiance and more than a witness that Adâm was uncovered and outside the secret of God’s activity. Adâm knew he was hiding and knew, in answer to God’s inquisition, that he was no where – naked. The question testified, instead, that Adâm had slammed the door on monogamous, spiritual intimacy. He’d abandoned his wedding garment and made himself unreachable by the matrimony of God’s friendship. His body, soul (mind, heart and will) and spirit were severed from the temple and fatherhood of God. And though the Lord of Universes sought passionately to indulge Adâm with the girth of His Spirit, Adâm no longer knew the language. He’d rejected the Holy Spirit’s tongue and was handicapped by his forfeiture.
The error was fatal. Humanity was shoved behind a veil of abomination into the distortion of religion and Satan’s lies; and the Origin was not tuned to the frequency of disobedience. Such misalignment could only be answered by His anger or His chastening. This hiccup in the river of life was relocation from the pure, literal fluid of the Anointing (that is God) to the perverse dimness of mankind’s iniquitous wisdom.

Here is revealed the vagabond nature of the spiritual outlaw. It is a poverty of the soul that glamorizes the false choices and concealed bondages of pseudo-faiths that collaborate with Lucifer’s vanity.   -- Excerpts from The Beginning of God, Chapter One, Lucifer's Grace, Copyrighted 2007-2008
