Policy on TTC-Client Relationship

The Telhare'sha Company enters into payment arrangements with our clients.  Fee agreements are based on the value of artistic services performed, however, we encourage clients and prospective clients to discuss alternative billing arrangements with us.   This page provides general information concerning our fees.  See also Contracts and Buy Articles.

Fee Determination

We maintain records of the hours we spend performing artistic services for each client.  The exercise of our professional judgment in this is one of the factors that distinguishes TTC for other writing companies.  We consider time, labor, our skill required to perform services and any time limitations imposed by the client.  These records are available for viewing by each respective client prior to payment.

In some circumstances, with the agreement of the client, the fee is a percentage of the value of the property that is the subject matter of our contracting.  All fee arrangements are documented in writing.

Fees are not charged for regular mail pieces and telephone calls.  As our service becomes more complex, including specialized shipping, however, the time and skill rendered increases, as well as our fee.

We generally request a retainer payable in thirds against which we will apply to our regular billing.  This retainer permits us to undertake the responsibility of providing you with services.  By payment of this retainer, our client grants permission for TTC to draw against the funds in order to pay our invoices as they are issued for services.

TTC performs all of the work for its clients.  Work is not outsourced or sub-contracted.  If, for any reason, this policy needs to change, we will notify the client first and obtain the client's permission.

Please, call or e-mail about your valid projects and for our current hourly rate schedule.  Our statements to our clients will reflect the rates in effect at the time the service is performed.  TTC generally bills in thirds.  At the conclusion of the work, we render a final invoice.  When we provide work to a client on a percentage basis, we generally send an invoice for our services at the conclusion of the work.  All fees, charges and costs are due upon presentation of our completed manuscripts, screenplays or stageplays, unless otherwise specified (as future percentages or royalties).

Interest upon overdue statements accrues at one and one-half percent per month.  We accept cashier's checks, EFTs and online credit cards (via PayPal) for secure payment of services rendered.  We do not accept money orders, personal checks or corporate checks.

Fees & Royalties

TTC fees may begin at $75 - $1,000 for articles and advance to several million dollars for screenwriting projects.  All fee arrangements include author retention of copyrights and lifetime royalties, including our heirs and assigns, unless otherwise negotiated and evidenced in writing.  Please, confirm that you have a valid budget for working with us.

Costs Advanced

Our work often requires expenses other than professional fees, such as out-of-pocket costs.  We expect clients to pay for charges and out-of-pocket costs directly related to the matter and these items will be billed as soon as determined.  These items include postage, courier and delivery expenses and travel expenses (in case of on-set rewrites or debuts).  In those matters which normally entail known costs, we generally ask for a retainer or deposit as an advance against such charges.  Cost billings will be immediately credited against this deposit, but clients are expected to pay the statements as rendered in order to maintain the level of advance until it becomes apparent that the deposit will be adequate to cover anticipated future costs.  Any unused portion will be returned upon the completion or termination of our services.
E-mail

Our clients should feel confident in communicating with TTC by e-mail.  E-mail is a great way to maintain a record of your correspondence with us.  Contact us at
admin@telharesha.com.

Telephone Calls

Our clients should feel confident in talking to any TTC professional who answers the telephone.  If you are not able to contact us by phone, you may leave a detailed message on our answering service and the call will be returned as soon as possible.

Termination of the Relationship

Clients have the right at all times to terminate our services - freelance contracting - on notice to that effect.  If such termination is verbal, it  must be followed with a written termination.  Conversely, a contract may be terminated by us at any time, subject to our contractual obligations related to termination.
